Join us at the Kountry Bar on January 30th, 2010, at 9:30PM. This will be Timm's first show with NM at the KB. Boy, is he in for a surprise...hahaha! Time to tear the roof off of the joint, NM style!
Timm Says Hello
We'd like to officially welcome Timm Buechler into the NM family as our new bassis. Let's hear it straight from the man himself:
• As a left-hander, I play a right-handed bass upside down with the strings backwards(low string on the bottom). People at every gig are either impressed, amused or confused….
• I have been in bands and writing songs since I was 12 years old & have been playing bass for 26 years.
• I'm probably best known in the local music scene for being the founder/bassist/vocalist for the band Rebel Waltz. They released numerous critically acclaimed LPs and CDs worldwide and were nominated for two Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) awards.
• Has opened up for artists such as Soul Asylum, The BoDeans, The Tragically Hip, Trip Shakespeare, Southern Culture on the Skids, Jackson Browne, and Social Distortion.
• All-time favorite bands are The Clash, Ramones, David Bowie, Cheap Trick, The Byrds, and R.E.M. Current favorite bands are The National, The Shins, Broken Social Scene, My Morning Jacket, and Arcade Fire.
